I never could understand why people would go into buisness in college because why would you want to work at Smiths your whole life? Guess this is one of the advantages to growing up in a town full of engineers and physicists!Emily Nicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07232644024903108442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6796341607011118633.post-38009673033248050492008-11-23T02:32:00.000-05:002008-11-23T02:32:00.000-05:00Great piece Patrick, and well written. I completely agree that business majors have ruined this country. The market is flooded with people who don't produce, they just know how to market, sell, and push other people's money around. Sure there is a place for business knowledge, I took as many business classes as I could in school, but when you loose sight of the big picture and your primary concern is "growth no matter what" and quarterly statistics replace long term planning, you're in trouble.

Now I'm ranting, but I think we're all upset that the government is about to make us pay for other people's mistakes.Timeehhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09548756944274655535noreply@blogger.com
